How to watch TV without cable/satellite?
I remember a while back when local TV was going digital and they were offering converter boxes or antennas at no cost (I think) for people who didn’t have cable or satellite. I didn’t pay attention because we have cable, but we’re going to get rid of it to reduce our bills. So, can I still get a box or antenna for free? Where?

The government is no longer offering the coupons for the free converter boxes, but you will need a box & antenna. From what I’ve seen, boxes are $40 and up and antennas can be around $20.
Here’s a site where you can enter your address and it will help you with a channel lineup and what type of antenna you’ll need for those channels:

LikeDislikeI know SacForums answered your question, but look into Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime, Redbox, and many networks’ sites will have shows to stream for free. There really isn’t much reason to pay for cable TV anymore, IMHO.
