How do I submit a question?

To submit a question for the community to answer, all you need to do is click the “Submit a Question” button. You will then need to register an account or simply sign in to your Sac Ask account.

You then just need to fill in the required fields such as:

“QUESTION” The actual question you would like to ask.

“TAGS” Keywords that are associated with your question. eg. restaurants, capital, coffee, etc.

“CATEGORY” Pick which island or category your question is associated with.

“MORE DETAILS” Here, you can add the details of your question.

Click the “Submit” button and you’re all set to post your question on SacAsk.com.

How do I register on SacAsk.com?

If you have not previously registered and you attempt to submit a question, you will be prompted to login, or register. If you’re a new user, you will need to enter your desired username and your email address. Your password will be automatically generated and emailed to you. Use your username and the password to login. It is strongly suggested that you choose a new password that you will remember. Once you’re finished in your Profile page, click Sac Ask in the top left corner to go back to the main site.

Do you need to register to answer questions?

No, it’s not required, but you will need to provide your username and a valid email address. Additionally, your answer count bubble and stars will not be displayed on your avatar located to the right of your answers.

How do I change my avatar?

If you’ve registered and posted an answer, but you don’t like the automatically generated cartoon avatar, you can easily change this by creating an account and uploading your own at Gravatar.com. Your avatar will then be tied to that email address, for use on SacAsk.com and other sites that use Gravatars.
